Tried & Tested // Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette

Everyone who’s everyone has been raving about Charlotte Tilbury for what seems like a lifetime. Whether it be her famous film star bronze and glow palette or the beautiful gold packaging that adorns her products *which I must say is packaging goals* she has taken the celebrity and blogger world by storm. Previously I had only the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Stoned Rose but when I saw Charlotte release her new Limited Edition Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette I knew I had to get it. Unfortunately, there were none left on her website *as I didn’t realise they were limited edition* but I managed to find a few left on John Lewis priced at £49 *unfortunately, they seem to be sold out sorry!*. This product was designed for women with little or no time on their hands whilst getting ready in the morning or for when going for a night out, Charlotte calls it her 5-minute on the go palette and boasts a quick and easy polished look in minutes *and considering it’s called the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette I would expect a speedy application*. Though I definitely have enough time to indulge in a long morning makeup session I do admit lugging multiple products around with me is a hefty job so I was interested to see if this compact palette would work for me.

Quality & Size

The palette has 7 individual products that are labelled in order of which to apply them which makes it super easy to use. Considering I only have a single lipstick from the makeup  brand I thought it was an excellent price to try out multiple bestselling products that I had always wanted to try *even if they were a slightly smaller size than the original*. The photos make it seem rather small but actually it’s bigger than the size of my palm which means the products aren’t so close that when I use it it just mixes together and you get a decent amount of product. The quality of the products are just as good as her other face, cheek and eye products. The quality of the products are just as good as her other face, cheek and eye products. The colours are very natural and neutral perfect for different eye colours and an achievable no makeup look. The texture of the powder are soft and finely milled with medium coverage so can built up for a night out.

Complexion & Colours

Although if it suits suit someone as fair as me I would presume someone with a darker skin tone may struggle with certain colours showing up on their face. For me it gave a very natural everyday look which was easy to wear and lasted ages on my skin *quite a feat for blusher and bronzer as normally it slides right of my skin by twenty minutes*. The quality and concept of this product are outstanding and it’s the perfect size to pop in my handbag and travel with versus taking four to five bulky pieces of makeup.
