Whilst wandering through my twitter feed about a month back, I received a message from Kate from Arbonne asking if I was interested in attending their Norwich event. Seeing as half of the year I live in *due to being a student* and I had still yet to meet any local bloggers, I thought it was a great opportunity to meet some fellow Norwich bloggers and learn more about Arbonne.
There was a small selection of us at the event which was lovely as I got to chat with everyone and generally it was a much ‘cosier’ event. Now onto introducing Arbonne…you’ve probably never heard of them but actually they’ve been around for over 35 years, they’ve grown slowly throughout the years and gained worldwide status primarily through word of mouth. They pride themselves on rigorous testing on their products and being not only cruelty-free but also vegan, paraben free and even gluten-free *and free from many other products too – make sure to check the website for more*. Creating products that use natural ingredients is really important to Arbonne and this is reflected in their policy and ethos. From Baby Care to Spa Treatments to Specialist Skincare treatments for problem skin *like acne or rosacea*, Arbonne has a product for everybody.
We went over the main cosmetic’s collection but I am mainly going to focus on my favourite of the products shown to us, as well as a few I tried out whilst I was at the event. First up is the Arbonne Makeup Primer, I found it soft and smoothing on the back of my hand and created the perfect base for the Perfecting Liquid Foundation, this is one of Arbonne’s bestsellers so it’s the perfect product to start off our experience.
Speaking of foundation, it’s a lightweight coverage which is easily buildable and with one layer gives a natural look to the skin whilst still giving a decent amount of coverage to lightly cover spots etc. Another face product I enjoyed was the Got You Covered Mineral Foundation Powder, a light ‘feather’ weight formula gives a natural finish and is particularly good for those of us for have oilier skins and mineral powder controls shine perfectly!
Now for one that I spotted on the counter in front of me and that is the Shape it Up Brow Pencil, it’s very similar to the Anastasia Brow Wiz or the Soap & Glory 2 in 1 Brow Pencil and Brush *which are products I absolutely adore*. When testing the pencil I found it rather creamy which is perfect for achieving a natural brow as well as a handy brush on the end to brush through your brows either to tame them or to help give them a good shape.
Last but not least are my favourite the Arbonne Smoothed Over Lipsticks; The shades I managed to swatch are Aster, Camelia, Magnolia, Terra, Peony, Iris and Dream. Using fruit extracts for volumising and hydration, Arbonne’s lipsticks moisturise and are long lasting *perfect for when you don’t have time to re-apply*.
