Mothers Day Gift Guide*

Whilst scrolling through my old posts, I noticed over the 3+ years my blog has been around, I have still yet to do a Mothers Day gift guide. With the day coming up this Sunday, I’ve compiled a little round up of some great gifts to treat the lovely ladies in your life!

First up I’ve got a few L’occitane Moisturisers, which are perfect to give your skin a break after the cold winter season as we come into Spring. During our day to day lives, our skin is exposed to a whole host of things, UV rays, pollution. Taking care of your skin becomes even more important with age as the signs of damage become more apparent and visible. One of the ways to protect and treat skin is investing in a good skincare routine to hydrate, repair and protect your face on a daily basis. I’ve always been rather enamoured with L’occitane as a brand, it’s Parisian styling and affordable luxurious products made me rather envious of anyone lucky to get their hands on their annual advent calendar at Christmas. They do some fabulous skin care, in particular, the moisturisers which add moisture, protect and nourish the skin. In particular, the Divine Light Cream which promises to protect the skin from UV rays, intensely nourish the skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, firming the skin and reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone.

Once of my mother’s favourite things to do, is to listen to the radio, whether it be listening to Tom Jones at the loudest volume possible or listening to The Archers on a weekly basis. I found this great Emma Bridgewater DAB Radio, which not only looks beautiful – it comes in several different patterns- it has a whole load of pretty neat features too. It has an FM Radio, an Apple Lightning Dock, Bluetooth, a headphone jack, 10 DAB and 10 FM presets and an alarm. It has a retro feel which I love, and the Bluetooth and Dock mean that you can listen to your favourite Spotify playlist on repeat.

I fell in love with this Rosie for Autograph Satin Trim Hooded Dressing Gown I spotted in Marks and Spencer. Nothing beats a cosy dressing gown at the end of a long day and putting your feet up which makes this soft dressing gown the perfect gift for Mothers Day. This vintage robe was designed in collaboration with supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for her M&S brand Autograph. Autograph also does some fabulous lingerie – up to size G – so make sure to check out some of her other items too! These gorgeous Matilda Dusky Pink Slippers from Pretty You are perfect to pair with the dressing gown above. They’re a little different in style compared to the usual slippers with one band going across with a big bow detail with a soft faux fur material. They make a normally boring slipper show into something a little more glamorous and pretty.

Last and not least comes one of my favourite gifts to give although it’s probably more on the high-end side, the KitchenAid. Somethings that’s been on both my mothers and I’s wishlist for a while now is a Kitchenaid which not only looks beautiful but is a machine that completes any kitchen. I’m quite fond of the pastel colours especially during the Spring although it comes in a variation of colours and styles. It’s easy to use, and helps a whole lot in the kitchen, especially when it comes to Easter baking this year!
